Paying Visa Application Fee: To obtain a visa, individuals are required to pay a non-refundable application fee. This payment can be made conveniently through online platforms or designated banks.

Schedule Visa Interview: To schedule a visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in India, individuals are required to create an account on the U.S. Visa Information and Appointment Services website (https://www.ustraveldocs.com/in). Make sure to have your DS-160 confirmation page and visa application fee receipt ready when scheduling the interview.

Gather required documents: To apply for a student visa to the USA, it is necessary to gather all the required documents. These typically include: -

Passport with at least 6 months of validity

Form DS-160 confirmation page.

Visa application fee receipt

SEVIS fee payment receipt.

Form I-20 (for F-1) or Form DS-2019 (for J-1).

Admission letter from your U.S. institution

The proof required entails demonstrating sufficient financial resources to cover both your tuition fees and living expenses
