It is the duty of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation (FMS of Russia) to issue student visas to Indian students. The student visa offered to Indian candidates can be single entry or double entry. Students, Pupils and PhD candidates who are planning to go to the Russian Federation for internship or study, are required to submit a Letter of Invitation, confirmation of enrolment from the receiving university, or confirmation regarding the academic course.
Documents required for Russia student visa:
Invitation for entry to the Russian Federation issued by the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation or by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation or by the Visa directive sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Presence of a direct letter of invitation from the university or college in which the Indian candidate has applied.
Original HIV test report
Original passport containing two blank page for visa stamp and validity for a period of 18 months from the date of visa issued
Completed, signed, and dated student visa application form which needs to be printed and signed by the candidate.
