Visa Application: Fill out the visa application form and submit it along with all the required documents to the Netherlands Visa Application Center (VAC) in India. Pay the visa application fee at this stage.
Biometrics: You will be required to provide biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) at the Visa Application Center (VAC).
Interview: Attend an interview at the Dutch Embassy or Consulate, if required. The embassy or consulate will inform you if an interview is necessary.
Visa Processing: Wait for your visa application to be processed. Processing times can vary, so it's advisable to apply well in advance.
Visa Approval: Once your visa is approved, you will receive a visa sticker in your passport. Make sure to check all the details on the sticker for accuracy.
Travel and Arrival: Book your flight to the Netherlands and make arrangements for your accommodation. Inform the educational institution about your arrival date.
Residence Permit: After arriving in the Netherlands, you will need to apply for a residence permit (if your stay is longer than 90 days). This can usually be done at the local immigration authorities.
Registration: Register with the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP) in your Dutch city of residence.
